The player create his bases, gather resources and participate in multiple events along his army to conquer the world. In the beginning, the player has to establish a team of hero and assume the role of the commander who must lead his army to take down the dark forces. He explores the environment from a top-down perspective and can battle enemies using his special abilities and a set of weapons. The player takes on the role of the protagonist named as Artanis, and his job is to complete a number of missions similar to Wings of Liberty. The expansion pack introduces new units and multiplayer changes, as well as a new campaign centering on the Protoss Race. The game serves as the standalone expansion pack for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, and the third installment in the series of StarCraft.
Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void brings a Real-time Strategy gameplay by Blizzard Entertainment and supports both Single-player and Multiplayer modes for Microsoft Windows and Mac Platforms. There are different units in each house such as mobile vehicle construction, infantry, wind traps and more. The primary objective of the player is to lead his army in the battle, fight against another force and take down them to conquer their land, and loot their resources. The player can harvest spice using the game currency can use the Solaris to create units to supply his armies. In the beginning, the player needs to control one of three houses and has to fight against enemies to control the spice mélange on the fictional planet called as Dune or Arrakis. There are up to three factions available such as House Ordos, House Harkonnen and House Atreides and four non-player sub-factions such as the Mercenaries, the Smugglers, the Fremen and House Corrino. The game has an exciting gameplay based on the Dune Universe of Frank Herbert and offers the similar game to Dune II.
